1996 vw jetta wont srart or even crank

Have a 96 jetta gl ran great heater core started leaking so it got parked had another ride so it
stayed parked for several months went out the other day and got the heater core and when i
tried to start it it will not crank starter tested good any ideas?

Did you try jumping it? What condition is the battery in? If you have it hooked up to jumper cables or a jump pack or trickle charger and get nothing, check the mega fuse and battery cables, if still nothing check fusible links to starter.
