Power loss

Asked by Larry Apr 28, 2016 at 01:56 AM about the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban C1500 LT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Looses power on hills then recovers slowly. My check valve hose is leaking could
that have something to do with it check engine light on . changed maf, plugs
wires,cap, rotor fuel pump and filter new battery ,new air filter I don't get it please
help,tired and frustrated

im having the same problem on my 67 mustang let me know if you find anything. i was told it could be transmission related but my lower gears run fine.

On the Suburban, have the engine light trouble code read by a local parts store and post the code(s) here on the forum.

Go to your local parts store an ask them to hook up a computer an write all the Codes down they tell you. This will shoot you in the right direction! Good luck
