My battery died I replaced it myself and my radio display has been flashing

try holding the power button for 15 seconds and see if that resets it properly if not try checking the fuse. if the ladder does not work unplug the battery for 15 minutes and try the code again. If this still does not work its likely something may have burnt out in the radio and needs replacement or repair. if it needs replacement i would would just go with a after market radio its cheaper and easier and you can get a custom face plate that hides all the extra gaps.

I tried the button I tried the battery it's still doesn't want to stay on I can't afford to buy a new one looks like I'll be learning to sing

well i would suggest looking into pulling the stereo out and start checking wires. Use a volt meter to check th power in the ports there is a possibility the fuse or wire is just loose.

wouldn't the radio not come on at all if it was a fuse or a wire though? Im just confused why it comes on for a minute then goes off but continues to flash

Ok Im trying the put the code in wrong 3 times and hopefully it resets itself option the radio is still working but for a minute only and then it asks for the code again so Im trying this before I tackle the impossible task of trying to get the radio out The you tube vids dont make it look like an easy task Thank you for your help

i think you can use Popsicle sticks or a choped up points plastic card to make the tools real easy. find a gas station that hands out the cards with the paper and your in busness :P

Mine has to be the one with holes instead of slots apparently it can be removed with a bent welding stick according to a 12 yrold on you tube

you can probly use a cloths hanger then if you got one of the wire ones :P
