1999 Chevy Malibu - constant check engine light and radio, air stop working

Asked by LivingNC Jul 15, 2014 at 12:15 PM about the 1999 Chevrolet Malibu LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1999 Chevy Malibu has constant check engine. Mechanic has been able to get it to go off for a while, but in a few days it is back on again. The car will stall when braking hard, and also the air, radio and windows will stop working for about 5-8 minutes after starting or restarting the car. Any ideas?

There is a ground on the side of the transmission that the nut tends to come loose tell your mechanic to take the nut all the way off and clean the connections and tighten the nut
