where can i locate the map sensor on a 2001 Volkswagen Golf GLS 2.0

ususally for all cars the MAP sensor is located on top of the throttle body, the MAP sensor is ususally black and rectangled shaped its quite small, and the throttle body is in front of the intake manifold (intake manifold is ususally in the far bak behind engine but i havent studied up on the locations on european cars..the throttle body may be under the valve cover hope this helps
