ANY ADJUSTMENT..WHY DID YOU REPLACE IT ??? DID THE CLUTCH WORK AT ALL BEFORE?CABLE BREAK?? THROW OUT BEARING AND THE REST OK???

i was driving all off a sudden i hear a sound on the clutch petal like something take loose after that i didnt get any clutch on the car so asume is the cable thats why i replace it but it still makes shamelike u can press in the cable it shows out side u orss it but when u try to put in tho gear theres nothong
