Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a problem with my car, I stopped the engine to go into a shop and when I went to turn the ignition It will not start, there is a warning light that has come on, of a car with a key underneath, I had the car towed home and now one day later the battery has gone flat?? has anyone got an answer to this problem.  Thanks  Pat

the warning light could be telling you to check oil level.as for the dead battery tow truck driver could have left the keyswitch on draining your battery or your altanator has gone bad.take it off and have it checked-auto zone will do this for free.
