Question type: General

Everytime i want to start my car it doesnt, keeps saying the trunk is open and i
hear a clicking sound inside. I have to get out of the car and slam the trunk
several times in order for me to start the car.

hey firebird, i tried that and it didnt work. its weird because when i enter the car and try to turn on the car, it wont start and it says the trunk is open when its really closed. so i have to get out and open the trunk and slam it hard. sometimes i have to do this 3 times in order for the car to reconize that its close.

That usually works but since it did not check to see if latch can be adjusted if not may need a new latch.

im not sure what it is, i get in and turn on the car but doesnt start. keeps saying the trunk is open so i have to slam it to turn on. maybe i might have to take it in.
