Does the 1999 Z3 2.5 6 have a BMAC sensor?

Moving to the High Desert of New Mexico will I need injection correction to compensate for the altitude?

I have not heard of such an issue? Did you read something on that?

The sensors on these cars already can handle high altitudes without a BMAC sensor. Their MAF and AT sensors already can determine what altitude you are driving in.
