Belts on a 1999 chevy cavalier

My '99 cavalier was making noise thought it was a
lifter but turns out it was the water pump pulley
lose or ? Anyway I figured it pinched the belts and
broke the serpintine belt lost it on hwy and the
single belt was wrapped up in the pulleys , I need to
know what the single belt is for so I can replace it
