Is it my rear end?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 BMW X5 that's making a humming noise in the rear. I first noticed it when I put new tires on it. I have had the tires on it for a year and the noise is still there

Tires? rear end? bearings? who knows, but on that expensive little car you better make certain it is not overdue for any services back there-
