How do you manually close the sunroof of an 2003 X5 3.0? My motor seems to not be spinning. It seems to have a shortage.

I am not sure what you are trying to turn. There should be specific nut to turn to manually close the sun roof. located in the overhead control panel. it may be dry and you may want to work it back and forth and oil what you can until it closes. There are to many posibilities about how to check for a short with the motor. It may just be the motor rusted, shot contacts, the switch itself, which is not unusual, etc. Good Luck
