Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 99 camaro v6 3.8L. When i push down on the gas pedal it
accelerates slowly and jerks until it fixes itself. It makes getting on the
highway a real pain. Does anyone have any clue why this is? Also, my
engine light is on and the car has 240,000 miles.. It does have a engine
misfire but if i dont press the petal all the way to the floor it wont misfire. How
can you fix a engine misfire? If anyone has any idea please let me know

Actually sounds like a fuel problem to me. Have you checked out your injection systems.
