What is wrong with transmission

Asked by Jacob Feb 20, 2020 at 07:34 AM about the 1999 Chevrolet Blazer LS 4-Door 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1999 Chevy Blazer 4.3 4x4 automatic
transmission. I recently put new intake gaskets on
got it all put back together it ran good but the
transmission when put in reverse you have to give
a lot of gas and it will barely move same in drive
after a few seconds of a lot of gas it will move
pretty fast with a jerk but when you stop it has to
start all over it was not doing that when I tore it
apart to change the gaskets and it has no codes
any suggestions

Oh and I took a trans line from the radiator and started the motor and when I did it start squirting out fluid.
