I have a 1981 Toyota Corolla Wagon, the reverse light did not work so I replaced the reverse switch and now lights are on all the time. Please help ho to fix this problem.

I'm having trouble finding 1981 parts, especially the back up light switch. So, Jorge please tell me first, it is an automatic or manual? And does the switch look like this or is it mechanical?
