Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While boosting my '89 GTS the booster cables somehow got reversed and blew the 80 amp. fuse at the battery. I replaced the fuse but no start. I have fire. The engine will start if you manually put fuel into the injectors. I replaced the relay at tank but no difference. Any suggestions. Thanks, Ron

if you Google the shop manual or verify a Chiltons or Haynes repair manual. does it say anything about the purpose of such copper-porcelain fuse? If so... check if this belongs to your ECM (engine control module, aka computer) or is it the one that routes power to the main box?
