A/C works but not coming out of the top vents, only the bottom.

Asked by jennifergraham1011 Jul 21, 2014 at 07:39 PM about the 1999 Chevrolet Astro Extended RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The A/C seems to be working fine. However air will not come out of the top vents. It comes out fine from the bottom vents (so at least our feet get cold!). I wonder if it is just something that needs to be wiggled around in there? :)

Theres a vacum bottle under the hood .uasely it on the driver side mounted to the hood. Check the vacuum hoses. These lines allow the vent to open an close.from dash to vent .to floor
