Changed battery

Asked by Jeffd934 Dec 06, 2017 at 10:41 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Venture LT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 chevy venture that I just
changed the battery in.  Now when I start it
up the radio says LOC on it and the
speedometer doesn't work.  Anyone have
any ideas?!

Check for a "gauge" fuse in regards to the speedometer. For the radio, LOC likely means that the security system is armed and to unlock the radio you need to enter the code. The code is probably inside the owner's manual or written somewhere.
