Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own a 2002 mercedes slk230 and I am having a problem with the hard top.  It is down inside the trunk and I cannot get it to retrack and close.  Is there a solution to this problem or do I have to get the motor replaced?

You have two steel wires located in the trunk my guess is that one of these wires is broken so you need to replace them. They are cheap to replace if you do it yourselfe.
