clank on right front side when hitting bumps

Sounds like heavy twisting when I hit a bump or bumps, but cannot get it to do it when
stopped.

Try having someone bounce on the bumper like when you're checking shocks and get down by the wheel and lesson for the sound. might be a sway bar link or bushing worn out or the strut bushing/ bearing at the top. also check for play in the tie rod end rack joints they go bad over the years. An easy way of doing it is to just get your oil changed at a (dealership) or a good tire shop that does front end alignments . The better places do a 28 point inspection on every car that comes in the shop might cost a little bit more but it's worth it.
