Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Thursday as I was driving my 2003 E320 the yellow check engine light illuminated, however there were no other problems with the vehicle. The engine was smooth, the coolant level fine, the oil level was fine. Why is the check engine light on

First thing to do is have the computer read for any Diagnostic Trouble Codes, (DTC) This would point you in the right direction for repair.
