What can cause my ignition not to turn?

Mercedes 2001 E320, the ignition won't turn over.
The battery is good, checked fuses, and the lights
on the dash work. All seems to work just the
ignition won't turn

If the ignition won’t turn but dash lights and other lights come on check the battery in your key if your battery needs to be replaced in your key it will have these similar problems 2025 Is the battery you want for your key fob good luck by the way you’ll need two of those have a great day
