how much does it cost to change the door remote key sensor

Assuming you don't have a dead or corroded battery and the remote works for other things, have the driver's door handle checked at a MB dealer or good independent shop. It's also possible it threw a code, so an MB scanner will see it. Anyway, its probably an new handle
