Battery light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the alternator and battery ,
and I still have a red battery , visit
workshop light . Car won't go in gear,
windows won't work . Lights won't
work . What's going on ?! Please
help

Some of these cars need the battery to be "registered" in the computer for the warning to go out. Also items such as the windows sometimes need to be "re-initialized" after a battery change. Also, you must use the correct type of battery. It may need a scanner that can correctly communicate and perform the registration
