Ring fell in dashboard vent

Sooo as you can tell by the subject of this, I
dropped my ring in the vent on the dashboard.
Don't ask me exactly what happened, it just slid
across the dash and slipped into the vent. Any way
I could get the ring out?

It may rattle it's way out the bottom vent but most likely someone will have to disassemble the heater box. You probably can not retrieve it with a magnet because real rings are non magnetic metals like gold, silver, stainless steel, etc.

Just another question. I dropped a lit cigarette down those same vents. It went out, no longer lit, is it going to catch fire?
