Key fob

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My key fob on my 2005 C240 stopped working suddenly.   Can use the actual key to lock and unlock doors, but cannot use the fob.   Any suggestions as to why this is happening or how to correct it?

If the batteries are ok (check by pressing and holding any button, red LED should flash after 3-4 seconds), then you need to order a replacement key from MB
