why wont the smart key open/close the doors on my C230 2004 Mercedes Benz Kompressor Sport

Have you tried replacing the key's battery?

To: Jason Hill it is a new Key which starts the car no problem - both the old and new key will not open the doors and the batteries are new. I am told there might be a fuse which is causing the problem - do you know about this?

I have checked all the fuses however just 30 mins ago I got the key to open the doors just once and it would not do it again. This tells me that the problem is easily sorted if I knew how Thank you
