Question type: General

I got my last question answered quite timely regarding a Camry. Thanks. Now I have another about a Mercedes Benz. If I do buy such a car, most likely this will not be my last.. I am car shopping and not looking just for something cheap on the front end but very costly maint/repairs in the  future. Quite concerned about future maintenance as well. I had an Accord that I really liked, worked and served me quite well but the belt popped and it was quite costly.

Timing chain, reliable as can be. The belt is just for auxiliary use, steering pump, aircon, alternator and things like that.
