I have a 2000 mercedes c230 kompressor. I bought it about a year ago. The mass air flow sensor was bad so I changed that and made the car run like new. I also put in a new fuel filter. Now the car has hard trouble starting. keeps dying. keeps stalling and lagging. smells like dumping too much fuel maybe? can this be the mass air flow again?

I would try cleaning the MAF and see if the conditions change. I have read about after market MAF's failing faster than a stock unit and causing idle and run issues.

I have a 2000 c230 Mercedes benz kompressor. My display on my car reads sometimes halfway. There is a code that comes up with the little wrench. What I can make of it is 52303 or 58303. When I look it up, it basically says the same. But I do have a little fume smell coming through the vents when the air condition is on. What do you think the problem is? My engine light is currently on. It just came on yesterday.
