My C220 stays motionless when I engaged D or R?

Asked by imubest Jun 21, 2010 at 05:15 PM about the 1994 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 220 Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My C220 stays motionless when I engaged D or R then fully released the brake pedal? it would only move if I put more pressure on the gas pedal. I had a feeling it has to do with the automatic transmission, but do I need to make parts replacement as I would on manual transmission car?

Probably idling too low, brakes binding holding the car in place, tires under inflated. Could be a number of things.
