My oil light is blanking what does that mean

Most likely low oil pressure, get it checked ASAP. Loss of oild pressure can ruin an engine.

Yes, as KenF says, get it checked ASAP. Oil pressure should be checked with a mechanical gauge to verify possible low oil pressure. A lot of the time the oil pressure sending unit just needs to be changed out.

..especially if you have the 2.4 4cyl motor ,they are known to use oil
