How difficult is it to replace a carrier bearing?

Asked by Jennifer Mar 09, 2011 at 07:17 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Per my boyfriend, the shuddering in the front end of my Cavvy is a result of a carrier bearing in need of replacement, specifically the front driver's side. He said it's really labor intensive, someone else said it's an easy fix. Any thoughts on this?
