Intermittent lapses of power

It cranks and runs fine in park and
neutral but while I'm driving will
intermittently stall out and lose power
and at times die all together. But crank
right back up. any thoughts

Check your Throttle sensor, give the throttle body a good cleaning. Also when is the last time the car had a really good tuneup with fuel filter chage...
