Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Help, I have a 2000 Chevy blazer V6 vortex.  It
won't turn over. The battery is not dead. All the
dash lights will turn on. I tried jumping it nothing.
However if you rock the truck back and forth really
hard  it'll turn over then. Is it the starter?

Lol...usually rocking car bac & fourth won't do it but I'd first start by taking starter out and have it tested. Especially if wen u turn the key u just hear a click (no cranking)

It could also simply be cables at stater corroded/dirty

I've checked the cables. They're good. I turn the key on nothing. No clicking, nothing.

Make sure the battery has ben checked out and is good. Also it may be in the neutral safety switch out of adjustment, or bad.

Could also be ignition switch that the key engages along the steering column under the dash.
