On a 2006 dodge ram 2500 cummins can a bad injector cause your ECM computer to go bad?

I took it to the dealership and I told them it was a injector fault in cylinder 1 they put a new computer in it
instead of a injector, I picked it up yesterday and it was doing the same I drove it back and then they said it was a
injector not having enough ohms and it keeps frying my computer. Is this possible

Yes it can, its not frying the entire ECM but its frying the driver module for that injector. each injector has its own electronic driver thats built into the ECM. sadly its a hardpart on the ECM motherboard and requires the replacement of the entire computer. you need a new set of injectors, and a new computer and youll be set. i recommend getting a set of brand new units from an aftermarket company, it will be cheaper and have a warranty if they ever go bad.
