I have just experienced the death wobble in my 2006 Dodge Ram diesel.184,000 miles

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I do have the steering stabilizer fix, Service bulletin H46. Replaced shocks last weekend. Reading about suggested repairs but can't seem to find any one stating these repairs fix the problem.

the steering stabilizer has nothing to really do with death wobble. its the track bar on these trucks that causes it. the only way to really fix the problem is by buying the 2010 retro fit kit, which changes the vehicles steering geometry. many aftermarkets though do sell a stronger trackbar for about the same price as the retrofit

Also check your ball joints and wheel bearings. The track bar isn't the only culprit for death wobble
