how to diagnois noise when clutch engaged

Dodge 2500 4x4 G56 tranny and 5.9 Cummins. Growling noise starts when clutch pushed down almost to bottom then noise stops. Starts again as pedal comes up and then stops just before top. Just installed new throw out bearing and clutch.
