I have 2003 Dodge Ram 2500.... Sometimes when I start it the oil pressure gauge doesn't come on,....if I shut the truck off and restart it comes on .....any help will be greatly appreciated

Coukd be a bad gauge or oil sending unit, to rule out the gauge hook an external oil gauge to get a second opinion
