Asked by Dogdriver Dec 18, 2011 at 12:56 PM about the 1997 Dodge RAM 2500 ST Club Cab LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I did an  intake manifold gasket replacement. When I tried to start the truck when I was done it would not start. I tried to talk to the truck with a diagnostic meter and it would not respond.

Have you reset the computer yet? Im not sure on your vehicle but most if you disconnect the + cable then the - cable it resets the computer.

are you sure you hooked everything back up properly? Did you leave something in the lifter valley or in the intake ports when you had the intake off?
