Ram 1500 transmission temperature light

My 2006 Ram 1500’s transmission temperature
warning light turns itself on and off at random
times. The truck can be on the road under 5
minutes and it turns on . Twice it’s turned itself
off before I could even pull over. Yesterday I
drove with it on for ten minutes before it turned
itself off . If it’s running hot how can it cool off
while I’m driving? It was shifting through gears
normally. When I got home 20 minutes after it
turned itself off the fluid was pink , full and
didn’t smell burnt . There were No codes in the
trucks computer. I’m leaning towards a bad
TCM or an electrical issue. Anyone know
something similar?

A transmission can run stand alone testing to find out if it is an internal problem or just a temp sender for the light.
