Is the thermostat bad

My temperature gauge is on high but my engine is
not overheating also I'm loosing antifreeze but
can't find a leak

Have a leak down test done. Possible small head gasket leak. Hard to diagnose as it could be something simple but leak down test will point you in the right direction. Had a similar issue, gasket leak creating pressure in cooling lines forcing the coolant to bubble up and out of the overflow line.
