I have a 2006 dodge ram...I think the actuator may be going bad. Sometimes when I switch from floor to defrost it doesn't go and vice/versa. Is there any way to tell if its the actuator or not? Should that little rod move when you switch control positions?

it is probably the switch on the dash. mine went out in my 2008 under warranty, it was replaced by the dealer, and is going out again.
