I have an '05 1500 Ram with a 5.7. I just changed the head gaskets, plugs and wires. As far as i can tell, nothing moved while i had the heads off(completely swapped one side at a time). Now I can get it to start, but it runs extremely rough and only for about 5 sec before it dies. No leaks, all pig tails plugged into they're proper spots, fluids are where they are supposed to be. The only thing that went wrong during the process was I had to replace 4 exhaust manifold bolts that the heads snapped off of. I did have the battery unplugged the whole time it was torn down. Thoughts, tips, tricks, ideas.... how do i reset the timing on this thing?

Are you sure the spark plug connections are all correct? If you mixed up a couple it would barely run.
