Loss of Oil Pressure

2005 Ram 1500 4.7 Ltr. V8. After changing the valve cover gaskets the Oil
Pressure Gauge will drop after reaching temperature and coming to a
complete stop.  OP gauge will rise again after pressing on accelerator.  No
loud noises, or anything like that coming from engine. Truck will also cut off if
not given enough gas.

This seems to be a common problem with Dodges, there have been a lot of posts on this issue lately. It could be worn engine or oil pump or low oil level. I would check with Dodge to see it there is a technical bulletin on this issue or a recall.
