Asked by pslobodn Feb 18, 2014 at 11:10 PM about the 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced my spark plugs and wires, I let it run for about 30 seconds and turned it off. I tried to start it the next day and I saw that a set of wires was placed to the wrong cylander; so I put them to the right cylander. Now my truck won't start I am thinking that my cylanders aren't primed with fuel to start. Would you please help me.

Thank you Jim, your words were very helpful however I double checked all of the wires and everything is fully seated and I hear all of the clicking for all of the wires, I tried to jump it and tried to start it and it still only clicks so I'm thinking it is the starter. but do you or anyone have any advice?

Thank you Jim, sadly the lights don't flicker or go out. I think it may be the starter.
