Front passenger headlight.

Asked by Travis Dec 06, 2020 at 01:47 PM about the 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2004 Dodge ram 1500. Front passenger turn signal
stopped working, so went to change it and found two wires
weren't connected. So connected both wires and turn signal
worked again but now my low and high beam headlight isn't
working. I have no idea as to why, when they were working
and my turn signal was not?

Sounds like someone was messing around with the lighting circuit. I had a 2004 Ram many years ago with the same problem but on the drivers side. The headlights and turn signals are controlled by the FCM (front control module) which is mounted on the front of the fusebox. It has a big black plastic connector body with about 40 wires sticking out of it. You may have to download the wiring diagram from cardiagn.com and check the curcuits
