04 ram overheating

I have an 04 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.7 hemi.
Truck has been overheating and returning to
normal running temp and overheating again. It's
like there is air in the system. I bled it out and I ran
fine. But it like it's getting air in the system but I
can't find any leaks or evidence of that except that
there is more air in the system every week. Help!

If you don't suspect failure of the waterpump, it's possible the t'stat is failing. Abntifrz usually blows out, not suck air in simply because of the pressure difference, I doubt air would continue to build in the system without some access to an outside source which would be shown by a leak somewhere on the outside.

Hey guys I have a 3.7 dodge ram that was overheating today. I assume it was a thermostat change it and didn't work. So I forgot the idea of checking for code on the scanner well turn out I had a P0117 ECT temperature sensor circuit Los. Going to replace it tommorow
