Question type: Maintenance & Repair

First I'd like to say thank you to everybody.....   I've just started asking questions about
my new baby and you have all been so helpful.
Ok so my next question might be a weird one......  Is it possible to switch from a 4wd shift
to installing a 4wd switch/button........   I know the newer years have them.  I thought it
would be an interesting task.   Again everyone thanks

@tennisshoes Thank you...... You are absolutely right..... I didn't think that far ahead..... I was actually thinking of making more room around the shifter for a custom console. I'm still a lil boy and gauges, buttons, and switches just make me happy. But you're right about the problems that could happen.... Thanks ..... Again proving my point of how cool this forum is
