Where is probably pulled off of under seat, on belt under . So computer does not show it is buckled. Next thing to do is check and look at your book and find out where that seatbelt were plugs into under the dash so it's either unplugged on the seatbelt under the seat or unplugged under the dash. If that not it you have to follow that wire back to wherever it goes as there is a break some.

My truck was doing the exact same thing...seatbelt light staying on and chime going off with seatbelt on...I checked the main connector and it checked out ok..I checked the connector where it connects to the buckle ..it's a two wire connector...the male end of the connector had broken wires right at the terminals...removed the terminals and repaired the sierra...problem solved..hope this helps!!
