O2 SENSOR WIRING DIAGRAM

Asked by Nick Aug 03, 2017 at 01:16 AM about the 2003 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi. I
need to know the wiring diagram for the o2 sensor
so I can wire in a narrow band air to fuel ratio
gauge. There are 2 white wires, one black wire, and
one grey wire. I know the 2 white ones are for the
heater element, just not sure about the grey or
black one. Any info can help thanks!

Your narrow band O2 sensor will have to be a stand alone unit. One wire is for the 5 volt reference another for signal return to the computer and the other two are 12 volt power and ground for the O2 heater. The computer will not read the narrow band O2 correctly. Weld in a new bung for the narrow band O2 and wire that to your gauge.
